Does a darker wrapper mean a stronger cigar?

Storage & cigar care
How should I store cigars?

Do cigars need a humidor?

Should I remove the cellophane?
Either approach can work. Leaving it on provides protection during handling; removing it allows more direct exposure to the humidor environment. Avoid frequent handling and maintain stable humidity.
What should I do if a cigar feels dry?
Place it in a properly controlled environment and allow it to recover gradually. Severe drying may permanently affect flavor and construction.
How do I tell mold from plume?
Fuzzy, raised or colored growth may indicate mold. If you are uncertain, isolate the cigar and seek expert advice rather than smoking it.
